Both vehicles will drive on the same permitted roads, including tar and gravel roads.
Your guide will position the vehicle for the best possible photo and viewing opportunity with both vehicle choices.
About Open vehicle safaris
All open vehicle game viewing safaris will be based at Skukuza rest camp for the duration of the safari, subject to availability. In addition open vehicle Combo safaris will be based at Skukuza for the duration of the Kruger Park section of the safari, before moving to the Sabi Sand or private game reserve.
Skukuza Rest Camp
Skukuza is Kruger National Park's headquarters for administration, as well as the largest Rest Camp, situated on the banks of the Sabie River. Lined with tall, aged trees along the river's edge, Sukuza's lush ground has been home to many visitors to the Park's central location. Well equipped and established in the Park, Sukuza has a large number of activities and facilities, with a range of wildlife - including the Big Five, indigenous plants, herds of grazing animals and exotic bird life.
