Birdwatching
The lodge is situated within five minutes walking distance from a popular bird sanctuary. The sanctuary boasts 75 bird species. Our resident guide, Robert is available to provide birding tours. Cost - R 250.00 per person (2 hours)

Golf
The lodge borders Benoni Lake Country Club, which incorporates a par 72, 18 hole golf course. Rounds of golf can be organised at short notice. The lodge stocks golf clubs, which can be hired on a daily basis. Cost - R350.00 per person/18 holes Club hire - R 120.00 per set

Walking/jogging
Due to proximity of the bird sanctuary, many clients spend their afternoons taking a relaxing walk or jog around the sanctuary. You don’t have to be an avid birder to enjoy this picturesque neighbourhood.

Swimming
Our lodge has a swimming pool. All guests are welcome to enjoy this facility at their leisure.

Gym
A world class gym is situated within 5 minutes walk from our lodge. Day passes can be organised. Gym facilities include sauna, aerobics, spinning, 5 star change rooms, free weights and cardio equipment. Cost - R 100.00 per person/24 hours

Shopping
We are situated within 5 minutes walking distance to a small shopping centre. There are two large shopping malls within five minutes driving distance. Both shopping malls have ample entertainment facilities.

Dining
There is a myriad of restaurants within 5 minutes drive from the lodge. These include traditional steakhouses, Italian cuisine, seafood, pubs and upmarket dining venues. If you prefer to eat in, we would be delighted to order for you. Your meal will be warmed up and served in either your room or in the dining room. We can also cater for requests for traditional South African barbeque. These occur within the lodge in the outdoor entertainment area. Please advise if you wish to avail of this service so we may prepare in advance. Cost - R 120.00 per person (includes salads, meats, starches and one local drink).
