TRIP REVIEWS
Dear Robert
Now that I am safetly back home in England I want to write to congratulate you on organising a wonderful safari for me last weekend. It really did exceed all expectations.
Clive is a fantastic guide, a very safe driver and a good cook as well. A perfect combination and I am sure that you realise what a valuable member of your team you have in him. He is a very easy person to be with and worked very hard to make our three days so enjoyable. We did so much but there was never a feeling of being pushed or rushed.
I shall have no hesitation in recommending you to friends. I worked in the Eastern Cape during a sabbatical two years ago and the two weeks before the safari were a bit of a busman's holiday catching up with old friends. The safari was really the icing on the cake. I shall have to start saving for my next visit in 2011!
With renewed congratulations and very best wishes for the future of your business.
Sincerely
Shaun
We are just writing to express our thanks to you and your staff.
Sadly, we are now home again in a cold, wet and dark UK, which contrasts so strongly with the vivid colours and huge blue skies of Africa. We had an amazing trip, and the highpoint has to be our visit to the Kruger - can it only be two weeks ago? The trip went so smoothly, clearly very well organised, and can we say a special thank you to Clive, who was a great guide, driver, cook and all the rest. He is obviously a guy who cares very strongly about the bush, and it was a privilege to be with someone with so much knowledge to pass on, and who was very good company.
Whether we can ever save up for another trip is all in the hands of the gods, but we would not fail to recommend you to anyone else we know.
With thanks for the most amazing experience of our lives,
Mark and Kate England
PS Tell Clive that when I looked at the photo of the leopard we saw on the evening drive near the water pan, it was so well camouflaged it wasn't there!
Dear Leonard,
Our travels through the country have kept us busy, but we wanted to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful time we had in Kruger last week, with Wayne Barnes as our guide. Wayne's knowledge, professionalism, enthusiasm and advice helped make our first safari the absolute best. The range of wildlife we saw was breathtaking, (and we realize we would have seen only a small percentage of it without Wayne) and we had a great time in the Kruger camps.
It was the trip of a lifetime, and we're very glad we chose Outlook and Wayne to be our guides.

Hi Leonard
We are back home in Australia now after a very enjoyable holiday in South Africa.
We would just like to let you know how much we enjoyed our safari into Kruger. The fact that we had a personalized tour was a bonus! Mary-Anne was fantastic....what doesn't that girl know?!! Thank goodness for digital cameras....no rolls of film to worry about!
If anyone we know is planning a trip to South Africa we would certainly have no hesitation in recommending your tour to them.
Re the survey handed to us, we can't think of anything you could do to improve the tour and yes please we would like to get the bi-monthly news letter at the moment after so recently visiting the Kruger.
Again, many thanks for all your assistance leading up to the tour and for providing the highlight of our South African holiday.
Keep up the good work!
All the best,
Marilyn and Noel Scambler
Dear Leonard
Just a short note to say "thank you very much". My friends from India, who have since gone back home, were very impressed with your service and your ability to accommodate them at such short notice. They were equally impressed by Willem, their guide. Your company has done South Africa very proud. As South Africans we often focus on the worst things in our country and forget to look at positive things such as the great service you provided my first-time visitors, who have vowed to bring their parents on one of your safaris probably next year.
Once again, thanks very much.
Regards
Noel
"Having returned to the united kingdom I would just like to thank all the people in S.A that made our stay in the outlook lodge and on our safari a holiday of a life time. We are so very pleased that we were lucky enough to have a great guide like Karen as she made the whole experience amazing. Her knowledge of the park and the surroundings were amazing she really knew how to get the children involved and keep them interested. Thank you again to Robert and Karen for all they did for us."

Laurie,
"I'm not sure if you remember Joanna and I from Sydney, but on this rainy day, it has given us time to reflect on our trip to South Africa a couple of months ago. I wanted to let you know we had an amazing trip with the team at Outlook Safaris. Everything ran like clockwork from the pick-up at the airport to the Lodge in Jo-Berg , and of course the 4 day Safari in Kruger. I would highly recommend Leo's expedition to others as they we able to accommodate and anticipate what we wanted to experience
Even before entering the park, Michael, our guide, arranged an overnight at a lodge an hour from the park which broke up the drive and allowed us to hike in another park and see more of the country.
Leo,
Again thanks for everything and we appreciated you arranging a fanatastic experience. Let Michael know that we hope he has had some free time to pursue his bird watching."
Best,
Peter and Joanna
"What can we say about our 5 day Kruger Safari Trip. It was the experience of a lifetime. From the moment Robert met us at the airport to take us to Outlook lodge to the final farewell at the airport
Outlook Lodge is wonderful and we spent a lovely relaxing day there after our night flight from the UK. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk to the nearby wetlands and our meal at a nearby restaurant, both of which Robert recommended to us.
We were introduced to our guide Willem early the next morning and our journey began. We were delighted to be the only two on our trip and Willem was the most amazing guide, driver and cook. His knowledge of the animals, birds and habitat were second to none. How he was able to spot wildlife when he was also driving never failed to amaze us and his dedication to his job, which he so obviously loved, was a credit to him.
The variety of wildlife that we saw thrilled us. Unfortunately, and much to Willem's consternation, we did not see any leopards but as far as we were concerned we were a little disappointed but - so what - we can always come back.
The highlights had to be the pride of lions that came and surrounded the vehicle late one afternoon, 6 in total including a male and a young cub. They all lay down in the road around us so we had a marvellous view of them. We also saw a large herd of breeding elephants - we counted at least 35 of them - with some very very small young. Again they were just by the vehicle so we had marvellous views of them.
Perhaps the most amusing sight was, in the heat of the mid day sun, was of two giraffes standing side by side under the spindliest tree you have ever seen, pretending that they were in the shade!
We had a marvellous trip and can't thank Willem, Robert and all their staff for making it so. We would recommend Outlook Guest Lodge Safaris to everyone contemplating a visit to the Kruger."
Thank you all.

Hi Leonard,
"Myself and my partner, Ros, recently returned from a 4 day Kruger safari with yourselves.
We've just about caught-up with our sleep now (early mornings and long days - but worth it!) and I just wanted to say a big 'thank you' to you and the team for organising our trip.
From the moment we were met at the airport (by Robert), to when Sue dropped us off at the airport on Thursday night, everything went well and we have really valued the fact that it was well organised and planned. It allowed us simply to enjoy the safari.
I'd also like to say that we were delighted with Sue (we've got her email address - have promised her several pictures), she was a great guide and companion.
We will recommend your services to friends if they are considering a safari in the future."
Thanks again,
Paul Burnley
Robert,
I just thought I would drop you a quick email following on from our 3-Day Kruger safari that my wife and I took last weekend.
We both felt that from the moment we were picked up from the airport to when we were dropped off at the hotel after the safari, that the whole team made us
feel like V.I.P's.
The Lodge is, just as described, a home from home, comfortable and peaceful, with wonderful staff. After our 11 hour flight from London it was the perfect place
to unwind before setting off for the Kruger.
As for the Safari itself, we can not praise our guide, Sue, enough. From the minute we set off her friendly nature and obvious passion for what she does was evident.
Every aspect of the 3 days was perfect, even the long drive down to the Kruger flew past as Sue imparted her knowledge of South Africa and we chatted away as the countryside
flew past.
Once in the park, her knowledge of the animal and bird life made for a fantastic experience....OK, so the animals take most of the credit, but the service that Sue provided made
sure that the whole experience was one that we will not forget. Added to that , the wonderful drive back to Johannesburg on the Sunday through some of the most beautiful scenery
we have ever seen was truly unforgettable.
So, in summing up, your team provided us with a fantastic experience with a level of service that is rarely found. If I have one complaint, it will be that it was just not long enough !!! (My fault, not yours).
